Festival breakfast with Natalia Komarova and guests of the Spirit of Fire IDFF was held in Ugra

The traditional Festival breakfast with actors, directors, film people and participants of the 18th Spirit of Fire IDFF was held by the Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova.

The head of the region told the guests that last year, the Year of Theatre in Russia, a nationwide event took place in Kogalym: Ugra became the first region in Russia to open a branch of the state academic Maly Theatre of Russia. Performances of the Khanty-Mansiysk Puppet Theatre and the Puppet and Actor Theatre "Petrushka" from Surgut are included in the long list of the theatre award "Golden Mask" (the most notable performances of the 2018-2019 season, according to the Expert Council).

Each of the participants of the Festival breakfast talked about themselves, their achievements and plans. The theme of volunteerism and charity run like a golden thread through the fate of the majority of the participants.

Leonid and Oksana Yarmolnik are members of 3 charitable foundations that support children suffering from cardiovascular diseases; elderly artists; homeless animals. Actress Irina Rozanova supports the activities of the Gift of Life Foundation.

Natalia Komarova also noted that she is officially a volunteer, as well as many residents of Ugra. "I am very happy that such a civic culture is developing in our country. Thank you for being involved in this and finding an opportunity to include this shere in our Festival," the head of the region addressed the guests.

"I heard about the Festival a long time ago and I aimed that one day I will be here with you. The team is amazing. When people take an interest in your work, it's inspiring. Many famous directors took their first steps here. It's great that the Festival has such an idea," said Rita Azevedo Gomes, the director from Portugal.

"This Festival is amazing and unique. I wish that we were lucky, new names and works were opened, and that we understood there are prospects," said Russian actor Leonid Yarmolnik.
