District children drawing contest "The world through the eyes of children" is organized at the XVIII IDFF "Spirit of Fire"

The district children drawing contest "The world through the eyes of children" will be held for the first time within the XVIII International Debut Film Festival "Spirit of Fire".

It is held to stimulate the creativity of children, to develop the ability to observe, analyze, look at the real life through art and poetry and to be able to express it by means of art, to activate the creative energy of children, motivation for socio-cultural activities, support creative initiatives and exchange of experience in the field of art education, to attract artists to the aesthetic education of the younger generation and to promote the results of children's creativity.

Creative works of pupils of children's schools of fine arts and fine art departments of children's art schools, creative associations of Ugra, as well as individual participants aged 10 to 15 years, are accepted.

The contest is held in the category "Graphics" (pencil, ink, pastel, charcoal, markers, etc.).

The work must be done on paper no larger than 297 mm x 420 mm. Image width and height from 800 px to 2000 px. The size of the image file should not exceed 4 MB. All the files with contest works should be signed: Age Last Name First Name, for example: 10 Ivanov Ivan. The participant sends scanned images of his / her works and application form to the address: grafikaart@mail.ru.

Each participant can submit only one work at the contest.

Children with disabilities participate on an equal basis with others.

Reception of works of participants: from December 1 to February 1, 2020.

Contest works will be posted on the website ugrafest.ru for online voting to determine the winner on February 6. Online voting is held from 6 to 20 February

The exhibition of the contestants' works "The world through the eyes of children" will be presented at the State Art Museum from February 21 to March 9.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Chitalkin concert within the XVIII IDFF "Spirit of Fire" on March 8.

In addition to the main nominations special certificates and awards can be awarded: "For the best implementation of the topic of the contest", "For responsiveness and empathy"

The winners will be awarded certificates and prizes from partners and sponsors of the contest and XVIII IDFF "Spirit of Fire" at the Chitalkin concert.

The work of the winner of the contest will be awarded to the best film according to the European Children's Film Association at the closing ceremony of the XVIII IDFF "Spirit of Fire". The winners will also be invited to attend film screenings and workshops of the XVIII IDFF "Spirit of Fire" from March 6 to 9, 2020.
