Nastassja Kinski's meeting with the audience took place today at the CTC "Ugra-Classic" within the framework of the 17th IDFF "Spirit of Fire".
The famous actress is an honorary guest of the Festival this year.
It should be noted that the visit of such a distinguished guest was made possible, among other things, thanks to the support of Gazprom Neft in the framework of the social investment program "Hometowns".
The meeting began a bit later than the appointed time, and, at first, the actress explained why she was late for the event: "We went to the taiga, and we did not want to leave it all, we went through the snowy forest... Your nature is of indescribable beauty... There was also a meeting with special needs children. This is perhaps one of the best experiences here in Khanty-Mansiysk". The actress even boasted a beautiful jacket with embroidered letters "Spirit of Fire" on the back, which children gave her.
The audience asked the actress different questions about her life and artistic work. For example, how Nastassja Kinski, a mother of two daughters and a son, managed to reconline work and family life. She said she didn't really want to talk about family, but she really loved them. According to her, it was difficult to combine, of course; you want to give children everything because it's great when there are kids.
The participants of the meeting also asked where else she had been in Russia. "I've been in Vladivostok. I saw tigers there, but not as close as I would like, and, given the geographical position itself, I realized how big Russia is! I have also visited Moscow and St. Petersburg. Now I am here in Khanty-Mansiysk!"
Then the actress told about the movie "Humiliated and Insulted", and later it was shown to the people who came to the meeting.
In the tape of director Andrey Eshpay (1990, Soviet Union, Switzerland, Italy) Nastassja Kinski played Natasha Ikhmeneva.
The film is based on the story of two families devastated by the aristocrat prince Valkovsky, love of Natasha Ikhmeneva and the son of Valkovsky. The fate of the young writer Ivan Petrovich, unrequited in love with Natasha, and of orphan Nelly whose life is mysteriously connected with the prince.
The film is based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Nastassja Kinski's colleagues in the movie were the actors Nikita Mikhalkov, Anastasiya Vyazemskaya, Sergey Perelygin, Aleksandr Abdulov, Boris Romanov and others.
In this film, the producer was the husband of the actress, Ibrahim Moussa.
"It's a work I'm proud of. Andrey Eshpay is an outstanding director. And the fact that Aleksandr Abdulov, the inspirer of the Festival "Spirit of Fire", was my colleague in that
film, is a wonderful coincidence... In the entire film crew, I was the only non-Russian person, although I have a mixed origin: German, Polish roots, and Russian blood, but I was treated as one of them, they said: "Nastya, you're one of us!". It was a special feeling when we worked on the movie," the actress shared.
Speaking of Dostoevsky, Nastassja Kinski noted that he is one of her favourite writers: "Nobody could remain insensitive to this story, it is like real life... I read a lot of Dostoevsky. In his books, there is a lot of heart, feelings, even at a young age I just drowned in his works".
