ILYA MALASHENKOV
MUSICIAN, FILM DIRECTOR

Born in 1968 in Moscow. Spent his childhood in a communal apartment on Kamergersky Lane, in the Spesivtsev Theater and Physics and Mathematics School No. 179. After serving in the Soviet Army as a tank commander he became interested in punk rock. Leader of the bands Gulyai-Pole, Reservatsia Zdes, Gang of Four, Santim and the Latter Day Saints. Participated in one of the Pop Mechanics projects of Sergey Kuryokhin. Studied at the Moscow Road Institute and at VGIK. Co-director of films “Black Taxi Driver” and “Four Times of Vodka”.
